Light matter and the tank

Light matter and the tank

The photographer used a tripod and a long exposure to capture the light of his cap lamp as he walked quickly around the side of this stainless steel water tank, which was built to protect the Large Underground Xenon (LUX) dark matter detector from background radiation. The tank is in the Davis Campus on the 4850 Level. Photo credit: Steve Babbitt.
