The Edge

The Edge

"The Edge" is meant to reflect the precise complexity of the infrastructure that supports the Sanford Lab research. As a sculptor, I was particularly impressed with the metallurgy, echoed in the copper. Sculptural form and design have been my passion for over forty years. I have explored classic figurative sculpture, liturgical art, large-scale landscapes, and fabricated figurative and abstract sculpture in stainless steel and stone. Throughout this journey, nature continues to be my guide and inspiration. I’ve completed over 60 major public works scattered from Washington, D.C. to Palm Springs, and Chicago to Dallas. My most recent creation is the 18’ foot tall “Legacy” sculpture, placed in Edmond, OK. More of my work can be seen at www.lampherestudio.com. This year I was honored to receive the South Dakota Governor’s Award in the Arts.
